On October 28, 2018 at 1 AM, A Officer working patrol observed a vehicle travel over the center line into the oncoming lane of travel on Michigan Street near Third Avenue. The Officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and found that the driver a 41 year old Michigan man had been drinking. Officers administered field sobriety tests, which the Michigan man failed. The Michigan man refused to provide a preliminary breath test and was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI). The Michigan Man was incarcerated at the Door County Jail.
