Crash On Bayview Bridge Causes Temporary Bridge Closure.

The Bayview Bridge was temporary closed as Officers investigated a two car crash on the draw of the Bayview Bridge. Around 4 PM Officers were alerted to a two vehicle crash on the Bayview Bridge. Upon arrival Officers determined that a series of vehicles were slowing down and pulling off to the side of the bridge as an ambulance was travelling southbound with its lights and siren activated. Due to the vehicles in front coming to a sudden stop the last vehicle in the series wasn’t able to stop in time thus crashing into the vehicle in front of it.  Both vehicles sustained damage and had to be towed away.  As a result of the crash the driver whose vehicle had been struck was transported to Door County Medical Center with minor injuries.
