The Sturgeon Bay Police Department will be sending members from the Police Department and its Honor Guard to tomorrows funeral for Officer Birkholz who was killed in the line of duty in Fond Du Lac this past week.
Services for Birkholz will begin at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home in Kenosha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 7117 14th Ave., Kenosha. Interment with military and law enforcement honors will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
