On March 30, 2012 at 2:20 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing a male passenger fitting the description of a male wanted on a Probation Warrant for being involved in an Assault in Sunset Park. Officers conducted the traffic stop on the vehicle and as soon as the vehicle came to a stop the male in the passenger seat fled from the vehicle. Officers arrested the female driver and then other Officers engaged in a foot chase with the suspect. Officers eventually found the male hiding in a residence on Shorecrest Drive. The male was taken down at gun point due to refusing to listen to Officers commands. The 23 year old male was arrested and booked into the Door County Jail on Resisting and Obstructing An Officer and a Probation Hold. The 24 year old female driver was referred to the Door County District Attorneys Office on a charge of Encouraging Violation of Probation.
