On December 13, 2013 at 2:50 AM, Officers working downtown noticed patrons still seated and drinking at Cherry Lanes Bar. Officers made contact with the bartender and found that the bartender knew the bar was supposed to be closed, but disregarded it. Officers shut the bar down and escorted the patrons out of the bar. Officers are reviewing possible charges for this offense. Additionally the City of Sturgeon Bay may take enforcement action against the bar. Officers would like to remind bar owners that all bar patrons must be out of the bar by the following times:
- Monday - Friday – 2:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m.
- Saturday - Sunday – 2:30 a.m. - 6:00 a.m.
