On February 28, 2015 at 2:47 AM, officers were dispatched to a residence on Maple Street for a Burglary in progress. Upon arrival officers found the homeowner out with the suspect in a nearby parking lot. As officers exited their squads the homeowner told officers that the 30 year old Sturgeon Bay man had opened his garage door and had stole an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) from it without his permission. During the incident the homeowners garage door was damaged from the suspect striking it with the ATV. Officers arrested the 30 year old Sturgeon Bay man on numerous charges including Burglary. The 30 year old Sturgeon Bay man was incarcerated at the Door County Jail.
