On October 22, 2011 at 3:16 PM, Officers were dispatched to the jail for information regarding a theft that had occurred at the Cherry Point Mall. Upon arrival jailers informed Officers that they had received information regarding shoplifting that had occurred while one of the female inmates was out on work release. Officers interviewed the female and ended up arresting the 30 year old female from Sturgeon Bay for Misdemeanor Shoplifting and Bail jumping. The 30 year old also had her wok release privileges revoked. She remains incarcerated at the Door County Jail.
