Officers Investigate Attempted Break In To Home.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on Quincy Street for an attempted break in Tuesday morning. Upon arrival Officers met with the complainant who stated she was awoken by a male pounding on her front door.  When the complainant went to look out the window she observed a male in his 50's balding with grey hair, wearing a yellow T-shirt, and black shorts at the front door. The male continued to pound and kick at the front door causing damage. The female unable to call 911 locked herself in the bathroom fearing the male would gain entry to her home. A short time later the pounding stopped and she was able to call 911 for help. Officers checked the area and didn't find anyone matching the description of the suspect. Officers believe this is an isolated incident, but are looking for anyone who might have saw someone matching the description of the suspect in the area.  You can call the Police Department at 920-746-2450 or if you wish to remain anonymous you can use the departments Confidential Web Tip Form located on the Police Departments website: http://www.sturgeonbaypolice.com/webtip.html  or click "Give A Tip!" on the Police Departments Facebook page.
