The
Sturgeon Bay Police Department wants to give a big THANK YOU to Julie Henry for
preventing a fraud incident that took place at the Pack and Ship in Sturgeon
Bay. Julie discovered that a couple was going to send over $9,000 in cash to
somebody. Julie contacted the police department, as this seemed odd. It was
discovered that a couple was going to send the money to a fraudulent person…
thankfully this was prevented.
It
should be noted that the Pack and Ship in Sturgeon Bay has prevented over
$55,000 in fraud. The Sturgeon Bay Police Department and Sturgeon Bay community
extends a huge thank you to Julie Henry and her assistant Megan Lautenbach for
all you do in preventing fraud within our community.
