On July 9, 2012 at 4:16 PM, A Officer patrolling Egg Harbor Road conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle due to the registered owner being revoked for a prior operating while intoxicated (OWI) offenses . Upon making contact with the driver the Officer determined she had been drinking alcohol. The Officer conducted field sobriety tests, which the female driver failed. The driver a 50 year old Sturgeon Bay women was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense and was incarcerated at the Door County Jail on OWI 2nd Offense, Bail jumping, Failure to Install Ignition Interlock, and numerous other traffic violations.
