On Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 2:48 AM, Officers on patrol observed a male break a large glass mug upon the concrete in front of one of the stores in the 10 block of N. 3rd Avenue. Officers approached the man and ordered him to stop, but the man fled on foot towards Younkers. After short foot pursuit Officers took the man into custody. The 21 year old Sturgeon Bay man was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Resisting and Obstructing Officers, Littering, and Meddling With Property. Officers learned later that the man damaged other items downtown prior to Officers arrival. The 21 year old Sturgeon Bay man was incarcerated at the Door County Jail.
