2 Sturgeon Bay Men Cited For DC & Meddling

On March 31, 2013 at 7:00 AM, Officers were made aware of videos posted on Facebook showing individuals breaking gallons of milk in Walmart and Econo Foods. The complainants were upset that the individuals who posted the videos intentionally caused the damage and that it wasn't accidental. Officers met with Econo Foods and Walmart who stated they did have problems with adults ranging in age from 17-20 overnight. Officers obtained security footage from both stores and compared it to the Facebook videos obtained from the suspects.  Officers found that in all of the situations the individuals had intentionally took milk and smashed the gallons of milk onto the ground inside the store.

During the investigation Officers found that Walmart has had multiple incidents involving milk spilling around the country.  Due to these types of incidents, Walmart has lost money due to lost product and damage done to other products in the area of the incident.  Officers cited the 2, 17 year old Sturgeon Bay men with ordinance violations for Disorderly Conduct and Meddling with Property.
